I am proud “mum” to beautiful, resourceful, clever and independent young adults Julia (18) and Ian (15). I’m also very lucky to be married to Kenneth, the man who has made me whole for over 26 years. We live on Vancouver Island in gorgeous Victoria, BC surrounded by ocean and forest. We all love getting out into nature every chance we get. I miss my “work family” at the Victoria area hospitals, a fabulous team of healthcare professionals delivering cardiac care.
As of October 2025 I am midway through targeted therapy treatment for “triple positive” (HER-2 positive) breast cancer. But I still feel like I have it all: a family who loves me, a stable home and finances and a job to go back to when I’m ready. Not to mention some of the highest quality medical care in the world.
